The dream of RAE was founded on the personal experience of Chris and Rae. Chris was paralyzed in 2015 and met his wife, Rae, a year later. Through living life as a paraplegic it became evident there is still a growing need for accessibility to adaptive equipment, education surrounding what is available, and through conversation after conversation seeing that people have a loss of hope. People who are alive but not living.

Rae received a doctorate in occupational therapy in 2018 and will serve to help people find the right equipment that will work for them and their specific needs, while Chris brings in real life experience of living as a paraplegic.
